UASA on the 22nd of February was involved in the coal sectorial quarterly meeting held at the Anglo Coal Training and Development Centre (ACTDS) in Emalahleni.
Various issues were discussed including UASA Bonanza, confluence and business rescue process that is currently taking place at the coal mines affected by the Tegeta controversy.
As a follow up to the commitments made in the meeting, UASA Management formed a UASA business rescue team that consists of a business rescue expert, UASA legal representative, UASA operational manager and Shop Stewards. The purpose of this team is to report back to members, ensure they are informed of any developments in the business rescue at the coal mines and any other relevant information they might require.
