Turbulent times at Turbomeca Africa

Following the notice of intended retrenchments at Turbomeca Africa as received on 2 December 2016, we also received a Section 197 notice regarding the transfer of MRO to Denel with effect from1 September 2017, as well as the business buy-out of the SAFRAN “Front office” (TMA Agency office).

We are concerned that while we have to deal with the section 189 process, we now have to deal with the other processes simultaneously. We are drawing on the expertise of our internal legal department to scrutinise all documentation. Rest assusred that we will do our utmost to ensure fair and just treatment of our members at all times.

We will keep you abreast of developments but should you require more information in the meantime, contact Jaco Burger (This email address is being protected from spambots.
